1-Mile Fun Run:

Kid’s (12yrs or younger) 

Begins promptly at 8:00 AM. Just $5 to enter. All finishers receive a medal. Top 3 Boy and Top 3 Girl finishers will receive a special recognitition at awards ceremony.

301 Walker Rd., Chambersburg, PA 17201

Directions:

From I-81 South take exit 16 (Rte 30) Make a left off the exit on Rte 30 West, Lincoln Way. Make a right at first light onto Walker Road and follow until you reach Gateway Avenue.

Registration:

The first 200 pre-registered are guaranteed a t-shirt . You can register via the website now through July 27, 2012 and pay only $20 the day of the race. Entries received after July 27, 2012 will be $25 for the 5K and you will not be guaranteed an event t-shirt.

Race day registration for the Mile run is from 7:00 a.m. – 7:50 a.m. and 7:00a.m. – 8:15a.m. for the 5K in the Keystone Ford parking lot on the corner of Gateway Avenue and Walker Road.

Donations:

Proceeds raised from this event will benefit the Chambersburg Steelers Youth League Football for new equipment purchases, banquets, new uniforms, and travel funds. We will also use some of the funds for NOVA Corporation’s Scholarship program for Navajo Students pursuing degrees in the field of Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering.

5K Race Course:

This course is officially 3.1 miles (5K) certified by USA Track and Field. The course is considered flat and fast. Starts and finishes on Gateway Avenue. Out and back key loop.

Course Record Cash Bonus:

A cash bonus of $100 will be given for finishing first overall in your division (Open Men, Open Women, Masters Men,  or Masters Women) and setting a  new course record. Double dipping allowed.

One-Mile Fun Run Awards
All kids ages 13 and under that participate and finish in the one-mile fun run will receive a medal at the finish line. The first male finisher and female finishers will receive a special prize at this year’s awards ceremony after the completion of the 5K Race. The cost per entry in this event is only $5.

5K Open Division Awards

Open Men: 1st Place = $200;  2nd Place = $100;  3rd Place = $50

Open Women: 1st Place = $200; 2nd Place = $100;  3rd Place = $50

5K Master’s Division Awards

Master’s Men: 1st Place = $100;  2nd Place = $50;  3rd Place = $25

Master’s Women: 1st Place = $100; 2nd Place = $50; 3rd Place = $25

Age Group Awards

Top three in each age group will receive awards. The divisions are as follows:

12 & under; 13-15; 16-19;20-29;30-39;40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over
